13 of the 13 starters on the PA Grand Canyon 200k finished in good time for a 100% completion rate. Although rain threatened throughout the morning, riders stayed dry and enjoyed the sunshine that finally broke through the clouds in the afternoon.

First time randonneur Clark Hathaway had a flat shortly
after the start but was able to repair the punctured tubeless tire with a couple
plugs, then chased the peloton and reacquired his riding mates somewhere in the
metropolis of Stony Fork.
Ben Keenan was clearly on a mission for the day and blitzed
the route setting a new course record in the process. He was clearly interested in getting home to
Delaware in time for dinner.
As the temperatures (and humidity) increased in the early
afternoon, riders were able to get their core temperatures down by crossing
Babb Creek in the deeper areas:

I was privileged to enjoy the day with an impressive and committed group of Randonneurs. I am happy to see that PA Randonneurs still attracts good riders and even better people.
